Listen up ladies, today marks the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. I’ve spent the better part of my World Politics class reflecting on the impact women have had on me throughout my life (obviously, my birth was first on the list, thanks mom). In lieu of an entire blog listing those ways, I’ll just say this; women, you rock.
Seriously.
I wouldn’t be who I am, or where I am today, were it not for the women in my life, past and present.
I think it’s safe to say that I have learned more about what it takes ‘to be a man’ from women.
So thanks.
P.S. I do realize I hijacked a Socialist workers holiday and made it into something else. Oh well.
